The tournament was a 2-man team event, with a 6/6/6 format. The first 6 holes alternate shot, second 6 holes best ball, and finished with a 6 hole scramble.
Handicaps were given for each team based on format of play (see details below).
Points count toward Golfer of the Year and will be awarded to both team members.

Tournament Statistics
Tournament Format and Handicap Allowance
Alternate Shot (a.k.a. FOURSOME): Partners play one ball alternately from the teeing grounds and alternately during the play of each hole
Allowance: 50% of the partners combined Course Handicap. When selected drives are permitted, the allowance is 40%. We will be using the "select drive" version.
Best Ball (a.k.a. FOUR-BALL): Partners play their own ball. The lower score is that side's score for the hole
Allowance: Men receive 90% of their Course Handicaps; Women get 95% of their Course Handicaps. The USGA recommends that the
spread between partners Course Handicaps be limited to eight strokes. If the spread is greater, reduce all Course Handicaps
by an additional 10%. USGA studies have shown that teams with a wide handicap spread will have an unfair advantage.
SCRAMBLE: On each hole, each team member drives and the best drive is selected. Each team member then plays a second shot
from the spot where the selected drive lay and the best second shot is selected. This process is repeated until the hole is completed.
Allowance: The USGA does not officially recommend any handicap allowances for a scramble. However, USGA research indicates
the following allowances should be equitable. 35% of the A player Course Handicap; 15% of the B player Course Handicap
